Three Indonesian boxers, Tommy Seran, Isack “Junior” Leitedena and Heri Amol outpointed their opponents on Saturday in their hometown of Kupang, Indonesia, small city in the eastern part of the country where international boxing events rarely take place. Seran (17-1, 9 KOs) retained his WBO interim light flyweight title by defeating Jayson Rotoni (11-7-1, 6 KOs) of the Phillipines by a unanimous decision. Isack “Junior” Leitedena (15-0-2, 7 KOs) also retained his interim WBO Asia Pacific super flyweight title by defeating Elmar Fransisco (Philippines, 11-11-1, 2 KOs) by a 12 round unanimous decision. In the main event, Heri Amol (28-11-3, 11 KOs) grabbed the vacant WBO Asia Pacific minimumweight title after defeating another Filipino Mating Kilakil (14-6-4, 5 KOs), also by unanimous decision in a 12 round bout.
