Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Jepang - 24 Oktober 2008
Kadoebi Boxing, penyelenggara partai kejuaraan dunia WBA kelas bulu antara juara bertahan Chris John melawan penantang No. 4 Hiroyuki Enoki, mengumumkan pertandingan akan dilangsungkan di Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Jepang, pada 24 Oktober 2008.
Partai ini merupakan partai utama yang akan berlangsung sekitar pukul 20.00 waktu Tokyo, atau sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB. Nihon TV (Channel 4) rencananya akan menyiarkan partai ini. TV Indonesia belum jelas siapa yang akan 'mengambil' hak siarnya.
Korakuen Hall adalah stadion bergengsi yang sering menjadi tempat penyelenggaraan pertandingan tinju bergengsi di Jepang, dengan kapasitas sekitar 2.500 penonton. Tiket masuk VIP seharga yen 30.000 (sekitar Rp. 2.500.000), dan tiket yang lebih murah adalah yen 10.000 (sekitar Rp. 800.000) dan yen 5.000 (sekitar Rp. 400.000).
Secara terpisah, Enoki tampak sangat berambisi untuk merebut gelar Chris John. Dia sudah berkoar "Saya akan memukul KO Chris John. Saya percaya akan kemampouan saya, dan saya yakin dapat melakukannya!" Seperti dikutip Hochi Yomiuri.

I very much appreciate for your blog, to get latest news of Indonesia! I have a question...Is this fight, John vs. Enoki is a mandatory bout or voluntary one for John? as I would like to see John vs. Gamboa in Las Vegas, Keep good work, thanks again
John's people always claim this as a mandatory fight. But I doubt it, because #1 is vacan, and Enoki is #4, below Gamboa and Rojas.
I think Gamboa and Rojas should fight to be #1 contender (mandatory).
Too bad Aoh vs Enoki was a draw, so no one became #1 contender.

Im worrying the long inactivity (about 9 months?) of the champ, and fight in abroad this time, hometown of Enoki.... my prediction of the fight will go to distance, seems John ahead 2 or 3 points, but the official verdict's for the Japanese...2-1.your comments are waited. Alexis
Welll alexis, mentally there;s possibility CJ in trouble due to several cancellations in his last fights. But CJ told me that he's prepared for a very long time for the cancelled fights. Physically, I don't think 9 months not coming to the ring will bother him.

Yes, Enoki has a samurai heart with ninja's soul. never surrender til the last drop of his blood.
CJ must calculate carefully on it.
But the strongest point of CJ is his concentration and focus. He has faced the worst situation inside and outside the ring. Now he'll face it again.
