Greetings!
Yuri Foreman unanimously defeated former champion Daniel Santos to win the WBA Junior Middleweight World Championship. The fight took place last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Yuri dominated the fight scoring two knockdowns on his way to the victory. All three judges gave the decision to Yuri by wide margins. Yuri Foreman is the first Jewish champion since 1932 and the first Israeli boxing world champion in history.
He is also the 132nd world champion out of Gleason's Gym.

Pertarungan kemarin terlihat jelas santos nampak frustasi menghadapi Yuri,bahkan yg bisa dia lakukan hanyalah komplain & komplain thp wasit tanpa alasan yg jelas,dng usia yg sdh 35 dan persiapan yg nampaknya alakadarnya memang dia bkn lawan sepadan utk Yuri yg memiliki kemampuan teknis ckp mumpuni.........
Gerakan kakinya (footworknya) enteng banget... side step, maju mundur, semua enteng saja dilakukan.
sudah lama saya nggak lihat petinju kelas menengah begitu kakinya enteng sekali. jadi inget Sugar Ray Leonard.
Roy Jones juga lincah, tapi kakinya masih sering nancap, karena mungkin untuk hemat energi.
Daud Yordan, Kabarnya bakal tanding 12 Desember nanti di US. Kayaknya bakal jadi salah satu partai tambahan Diaz vs Malignaggi II di Chicago. Lawannya belum diketahui tapi spekulasi antara Daniel Ponce De Leon atau Juan Carlos Burgos
Lihat Yuri Foreman jd inget B.Jeffrey Pamungkas, kabarnya beliau waktu msh aktif latihan tinju gaya bertarungnya persis Yuri Foreman. Sayang sy tdk memiliki rekaman videonya. :D
Hehehe... saya petinju counter mas... kalau ditonjok lawan, yang counter pelatihnya... :)
