Former Indonesian welterweight champion Aswin Cabuy is scheduled to fight Samuel Colomban of Australia in a 12 round bout for the vacant WBF Asia Pacific title on March 18 at the legendary stadium Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia. On the undercard, Indonesian middleweight Bambang Rusadi will fight Thailand's Dechapon Suwannalert for the middleweight WBF Asia Pacific title. Noldy Manakane will fight twelve rounds against Jemmy Gobel for the national super flyweight championship; and Syamsul Hidayat will fight twelve rounds against Ade Alfons for the national welterweight title. Indonesian promoter Tourino Tidar will cooperate with two English promoters, Steve Pitt and Eamon Sadler of BSI Promotions, to stage this show. Back in 1973, Istora Stadium was used to stage "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali vs Rudi Lubbers in a twelve round non-title heavyweight bout, the biggest heavyweight match ever held in Indonesia.
