Indonesian rising star Daud Chino Yordan, 20, signed a five-year agreement with the Golden Boy Promotions for a minimum of four fights per year. Yordan is an aggressive, hard-punching fighter and currently the featherweight WBO Asia Pacific youth champion, having a convincing record of 20-0 with 15 KOs. He will fight for the first time in the US on May 31 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas on the undercard of Shane Mosley vs. Zab Judah. Yordan was offered a spot on Saturday's De la Hoya-Forbes undercard, but he opted to fight on May 31 in Las Vegas.

Yordan is the first fighter in Indonesian boxing history to sign a multi-fight deal with an American promoter. Several Indonesian boxers before Yordan have fought in the US, but all of them lost and all were contracted on one-fight basis. "We showed GBP some of Yordan's fights, and they were interested. I predict Daud could be the WBO champion within three or four fights," said Pino Bahari, Yordan's manager. "In the future, when Daud faces a big fight, he can use Freddy Roach's Wild Card Gym with a possibility to be trained by the great trainer," Bahari added.
